This approach may be useful for the treatment of injuries such as bone fractures, sprains or tears of ligaments, joint dislocations and other related musculoskeletal problems. Expanding the scope of the ERAS protocol to other types of orthopedic surgeries and injuries may include procedures such as joint replacement, reconstructive surgery and other treatments.
