As a result of the work, a set of measures was developed to combat gas-dynamic phenomena during the development of coal seams l1 and l3. Participated in the commission for determining the emission hazard category and the procedure for working out mine layers prone to gas-dynamic phenomena at the mines of the РЕ «Mine management «Dobropilske» and the РЕ «Mine management «Novodonetske» of the SE «Dobropillyvaugillya-vydobutok». Predictions of the release hazard of the coal seam at the place of opening have been made. A study was conducted on sudden gas breakthroughs from the soil of workings in specific mining and geological conditions. Recommendations have been developed to prevent sudden releases of coal, rock, and gas during mining operations and development of the coal seam of the mine "Dobropilska" and LLC "Krasnolymanske". Inspection and calibration of PG-2MA devices on the SIPG-type stand and inspection of the P-1 strength gauge springs on the UIZH-type installation were performed.
