It was established that there are 9 breeding enterprises operating in the Kirovohrad region, while there were 14 in 2013–2015, correspondingly, the share of the decrease is 35.7%, and a stable decrease in the number of cattle and cows was also recorded. The gross production of milk in all categories of farms decreased, from 2020 to 2023 by 3.8 thousand tons (in 23 years by 116.7 thousand tons, or by 30.3%), which is negative. Holstein cows ("Progres" LLC, Kropyvnytskyi district) were characterized by the highest milk productivity, the average yield of which was 9529 ± 294 kg and the yield of milk fat was 344.0 ± 3.99 kg. It was established that among the Ukrainian red dairy breeds, according to the individual characteristics of the exterior studied, the highest predominance is characterized by bulls Alert 9728 (4.2%), Dragomir 1400 (2.9%), among the Ukrainian black and white - Dial 7683 (4.2%) ), and Carlino 6369 (7.2%), for Ukrainian red-speckled milk - Vice Red 0993 (5.8%) and Tirso 9425 (4.1%).
