The petroleum, oil, lubricants polluted part of these soils can be restored using energetic crops. The recultivation of oil-contaminated territories by energy crops and obtaining selective biomass, however, is not an easy task. It needs special approach to both the type of pollutant and adaptation abilities of the energetic crops. Melilotus officinalis plants are considered as a new important energetic crops. The influence of the following agents on growth of Melilotus officinalis plants under oil pollution of the soil (oil content 5%) was studied. sorbent-meliorants: sawdust, dry grassy leftovers/hay, sunflower husk; mineral fertilizers: (NH2)2CO+K2HPO4, organic fertilizer– Agrobellum; humates. It was shown that sunflower husk is the most promising and easily available agent, accelerating phytoremediation. The best results were obtained under combined use of complex (sunflower husks + mineral fertilizers + Humifield forte), which has positive effect on Melilotus officinalis plants – growth parameters of shoot increases in 104,5% as well as total content of chlorophylls а+b іп 1,7. Millet plants (Panicum virgatum L.) is considered as an important energy crop, widely used for energy production. The dependence of initial growth parameters of P. virgatum plants on the concentration of humate solutions (Humifild forte) was studied. It was found that the optimal concentration for seed pretreatment before sowing was equal to 0.1 g/l. An individual and combined influence of sorbents, mineral fertilizers, humates and on growth of P. virgatum plants was studied. The best results were obtained under combined use of complex (sunflower husks + Humifield forte), which revealed positive effect on growth parameters of P. virgatum plants: increase of shoot height, root length as well as total content of chlorophylls а+b.
