The research object is the biological and productive effect of compound feed on ewes during the lactation period, lambs and rams for fattening; patterns of productive, biochemical and metabolic changes in the animals body. Research methods - zootechnical, biochemical, biometric, economic ones. Recipes of compound feed for fattening rams have been developed with the content of grain components reduced to 54% by weight. It was established that the use of experimental compound feed in feeding young sheep ensured a 12% (Р<0.05) increase (up to 242 g/animal versus 216 g/animal in the control) in the growth intensity of rams. This also affected the live weight of the animals, which at the beginning of the experiment was almost the same and amounted to 22.5-22.6 kg/animal, and at the end of fattening at the age of 6.5 months, it was already 46 in the rams of the II experimental group. 7 kg/animal, or was 5.9% higher than the control indicators (44.1 kg). At the same time, the feed conversion improved to 5.9 IU/kg of gain, or was 13% less than in animals of the control group (6.8 IU/kg). The duration of the main period of the experiment was 100 days. The calculation of the economic efficiency of the research showed that thanks to the use of new compound feed recipes, the increase in the intensity of lambs growth in the II research group animals received 115 UAH/animal additional conditional profit during their fattening.
