The purpose of the work is to improve the methodology of "Forensic author identification examination. Methodological foundations" (reg. No. 1.2.09), taking into account the specifics of modern research objects. Research methods are general scientific and special: formal-logical, observational, descriptive, discursive, modeling, statistical, special linguistic methods, sociolinguistic, methods of logical-semantic, contextual, structural-systemic analysis, etc. Theoretical and practical results - study of the subject, object of research; an outline of the tasks of the forensic linguistic authorship examination of speech, which is conducted for the purpose of identifying the author (performer) of the text; definition of general and individual signs of written speech; systematization of written and spoken skills; establishment of the main stages of the process of expert identification of the author of the text; consideration of the peculiarities of preparation and registration of materials for the forensic identification examination of speech; determining the limits of the forensic expert's competence in conducting author research on the identification of the author of the text. Novelty - for the first time in the practice of expert institutions of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, the methodical principles of author identification studies of short volumes, performed with the help of special computer programs of the texts of documents belonging to different styles of written communication, will be described and grouped. Effectiveness of implementation - improvement of the methodology will significantly increase the level of performance of forensic linguistic (autorecognition) examination of speech.
