The purpose of the work is to increase the efficiency of technological operations in agro-industrial production by introducing adjustable electric drives of machine-tractor units coordinated with technological operations. The research methods were based on the basic provisions of the theory of electrical engineering, mathematical statistics, simulation modeling, theoretical foundations of MTA movement dynamics using PCs and mathematical environments Mathcad, Microsoft Office Excel, KOMPAS 3D. Research tasks: to establish regularities of work processes of regulated electric drives of working bodies of machine-tractor units; justify rational structural and functional schemes of machine-tractor units with an adjustable electric drive; develop a mock-up sample of a machine-tractor unit with an adjustable electric drive; conduct an experimental test of theoretical provisions. Research results - as a result of the analysis of the current state of development of the adjustable electric drive in the MTA, it was determined that according to the technical characteristics of the existing tractors, the balance of power sources and consumers should be no more than 0.5 kW, provided that standard electrical equipment is used; in accordance with the analysis of the characteristics of existing consumers of mechanical energy in the MTA according to the "working time - power" indicators, the regularities of coordinating the working processes of regulated electric drives have been established; substantiated and developed structural and functional schemes of adjustable electric drives for sowing complex PKPS 6/5000 "Zlotnyk" and Kappa 6000 SP seeder.
