The purpose of the work is to study the characteristics of the behavior of nanoparticles and nanomaterials, analyze the properties of nanomaterials, and investigate the possibility of introducing nanomaterials to increase the resource of ship mechanisms. Methods of synthesis of nanomaterials have been studied. The issue of crystal formation and methods of influence on obtaining nanocrystals of various sizes were studied. An analysis of the reasons for the special behavior of nanomaterials has been carried out. The special properties of nanoparticles and nanomaterials were studied with the aim of using them to increase the resource and reliability of ship mechanisms.
