To continue the in-depth study by the staff of the Department of Oriental Languages of H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University of the topical issues of teaching methods of Oriental languages in secondary and higher schools, the study of modern non-traditional methods of teaching Oriental languages, as well as the essence and types of interactive teaching methods in the context of the current reform of the national education system of Ukraine. To continue the study of Oriental languages in the field of philology. Methods: heuristic, phenomenological, comparative-historical, comparative-typological, experimental, intertextual and intermedial analysis, observation, etc. Research results: 3 monographs; 2 authored PhD theses; 7 teaching methods. Manuals and methodological recommendations; 154 articles and abstracts. One of the monographs was published abroad in the Republic of Turkey in Turkish. Degree of implementation: The published teaching materials are aimed at developing spoken language, communicative competence, grammatical and phonetic skills of students. All teaching materials are used in the educational process and make a significant contribution to improving the effectiveness of learning. Thus, the findings in the linguistics area are part of the courses on Chinese phonetics, Chinese linguistics, analytical reading, practical Hebrew, stylistics, methods of teaching oriental languages in higher education institutions, online learning, etc. Conclusions: The theoretical developments recorded in the publications of the department's teachers successfully find their practical implementation in teaching and learning activities.
