The analysis of the possible risks of the impact of the Dniester HPP/GAPP (taking into account the connection of additional units) on the transboundary section of the Dniester in low-water conditions, showed that out of 14 groups of identified impacts on the ecological state and biodiversity, only two groups (bank erosion due to fluctuations in water levels and the risk of direct elimination of hydrobionts when pumping and discharging water at the HPP) had a moderately significant ecological risk.
