The purpose of the study is to examine the linguistic, literary, and translation paradigms of modern Slavic studies, its achievements and prospects for development. Research methods are determined by the specifics of each area of collective research. Among literary studies methods, the most commonly used are typological, formalistic, structural and semiotic, hermeneutical, historical and literary, comparative and historical, textual (including close reading), receptive and socio-cultural methods. The department's linguists most often turned to structural, pragmatic, systematic, and comparative methods. Results: The expected results in the study of linguistic, literary and translation studies of Slavic paradigms have been achieved, which is reflected in scientific publications. The main scientific results include the study of little-studied issues of Slavic languages and literatures. For example, the formation of Croatian literary fiction was studied, topical issues of Slavic phraseology and methods of teaching Slavic languages were considered, etc. A number of scientific problems related to the study of children's literature in Ukraine, Croatia, and Poland have been worked out and studied. The issues of reception of translations of Slavic literatures in Ukraine in the twenty-first century, problems of comparative nature, as well as the peculiarities of the development of Slavic literatures of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries are studied.
