The object of the research comprises theoretical and methodological foundations of the process of formation and development of prerequisites for innovative development based on the improvement of its financial and credit support. The aim of the work is to elaborate on the theoretical-methodological foundations and methodological recommendations for improving the financial and credit support of innovative development in the agricultural sector. In the course of the work, a set of general scientific methods of cognition and research was used: analysis and synthesis, monographic, mathematical-statistical, and others. During the research, the theoretical foundations of financial and credit support for the innovative development of the agricultural sector were studied, and directions for the development of financial innovations were determined; potential sources of financing for innovative projects in the agricultural sector in the field of circular economy were analyzed; modeling of the impact of capital investments of agricultural enterprises on the efficiency of expenditures in the grain industry was conducted; proposals for improving the complex of measures related to attracting loans to form financial resources of agricultural enterprises were developed. The results were reported at 18 scientific and scientific-practical conferences, 3 author’s certificates were obtained, the results were implemented in the educational process, methodological recommendations were developed for organizing and conducting pre-trial reorganization of the stability of agricultural enterprises. The results of the work can be used in the practical activities of agricultural sector enterprises, farms, financial institutions, state and self-government bodies, in the field of education, and in further scientific research.
