The purpose of the work is to evaluate the probability of occurrence of rockfalls during mining operations in the conditions of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE». Research methods – scientific analysis of obtained "stress-relative strain" diagrams in accordance with methodological guidelines for predicting dynamic phenomena on coal seams based on their physical and mechanical properties. As a result of the work, the method of assessing the shock hazard of coal massif was clarified. Laboratory tests of the physical and mechanical properties of coal samples and a prediction of the impact hazard of the d4 coal seam at sections 2 of the northern conveyor stretch and 2 of the northern ventilation stretch of the lava of the central panel of unit 11 of the «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» were performed. An assessment was made of the output of the pile and the gas dynamics of the coal seam in the opening of overburden pits 2 of the northern conveyor stretch and 2 of the northern ventilation stretch of the bench of the central panel of block 11. The probability of occurrence of rock strikes during mining operations in block 11 of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» was assessed.
