The object of research is the processes of restructuring the economy of Ukraine The subject of the study is recommendations for the restructuring of the economy of Ukraine in the post-war period Research methods – theoretical generalization, analysis, synthesis, statistical analysis, graphic, comparison, methods of economic and mathematical modeling and foresight studies. Scientific and technical results: - a methodical approach was developed to determine the perspective model of Ukraine's economy based on the generalization of the experience of the leading countries of the world depending on their scale, development of human capital and scientific and technical potential, as well as the diversity of raw material reserves; - the intermediate model of Ukraine's economy in the post-war period is substantiated; - a theoretical justification of the approach to the assessment of Ukraine's national security is proposed, taking into account the state of its armed forces, the development of the defense-industrial complex and the potential of the economy as a whole to protect the territorial integrity of the state; - an assessment of the national security of Ukraine in the post-war period was carried out and directions for its provision were determined; - a methodical approach was developed to determine the priority directions of the restructuring of the economy of Ukraine, taking into account its intermediate model and ensuring the country's national security.
