Individualization of combined treatment of colorectal cancer of III-IV stages of the disease based on the study of molecular markers of redox status of tumor progression

The object of the study: 1390 patients with colorectal cancer with metastatic liver damage for the period from September 2000 to December 2023, patients underwent surgical and combined treatment in the conditions of the clinic of the National Cancer Institute. Research methods: general clinical research methods (physical, laboratory methods, assessment of the general condition of the patient), clinical and instrumental (endoscopic methods, radiological and functional diagnostics) - to determine the state of internal organs and the degree of tumor spread. Morphological studies to verify the diagnosis, estimate the spread and degree of differentiation of the tumor; to determine the characteristics of the therapeutic pathomorphosis of the neoplasm. At the light-optical level: pathohistological, morphometric and histochemical (using hematoxylin-eosin staining; Alcian blue according to Steedman, according to Masson, SHIK-reactions). Biophysical research methods: determination of the level of generation of superoxide radicals, NO by neutrophils and tissue cells, low- and high-spin forms of cytochrome P-450 using the method of electron paramagnetic resonance and SpinTraps technology. Polyacrylamide gel zymography method for determining active and latent forms of MMP-2 and MMP-9 gelatinases. Statistical research methods. This work presents a solution to an actual problem in oncology, improved oncological prognosis in patients with metastatic liver damage from colorectal cancer by using a parenchymal-sparing surgical strategy and researching redox-dependent predictors of early progression. As a result of the performed NDR, a parenchymal-sparing strategy (PCS) was developed, which allows safe and effective removal of metastatic foci within the right “venous core” of the liver, portal and caval confluence, paracaval and caudal parts of S1, deep sites S4, S5, S8, central sites of the liver .

Once you have filled in the information about the scientific data set and added the necessary files, you can save the draft or send the data to the system.
Please note! Once the data has been sent, you cannot change it.
Drafts are necessary for storing the data set and editing it before sending.
All accounts on the NRA website go through a standard registration procedure and are verified. However, in order to obtain additional features, such as publishing open reviews of academic texts, verification by affiliation is required.
To obtain the status “verified”, you must change your primary email address to a corporate one, which is tied to a scientific or educational institution.

After confirming your corporate email address, your account will be automatically verified by affiliation.

If you know the publication date of the news or are interested in a specific time frame in which they were published on the website, you can select such a date or date range in the additional field that looks like a calendar. The date is entered in the format year-month-day and confirmed by clicking on the corresponding date in the calendar dropdown. You can enter a date or choose one by browsing through the calendar by months and years. By default, the interval starts from the oldest date (2018-01-23) and ends with the current date.
You can also use one or more hashtags, which are located under the search field on the right side of the “News” page.
