The conditions under which it is possible to use Olympus TG-6 cameras at mining enterprises have been determined. As a result of examination of the submitted documentation, analysis of regulatory documents and technical examination of the Olympus TG-6 camera sample, the following was established: – the Olympus TG-6 camera belongs to portable electrical devices of general purpose and does not have a mining version; – the Olympus TG-6 camera does not have parts that generate a spark in normal operation due to the incorporation of electrical parts into the hermetic shell of the camera body; – the Olympus TG-6 camera has, according to the JIS/IEC standard, a degree of protection against dust and water resistance of IR68 (according to GOST 14254) in accordance with the requirements of clause I.2 of GOST 22782.3 and is intended for use under water at a depth of up to 15 m.
