The use of the tribophysical approach made it possible to consider and describe the processes of friction and wear and the formation of rational tribotechnical characteristics in movable couplings of parts. On the basis of a synergistic approach, the possibility of grouping tribotechnical indicators and optimizing the composition of the structural one in order to formulate the conditions of the state of self-organization has been realized. The physico-mesomechanical approach made it possible to describe and develop the mechanisms of the formation of surface layers and wear processes of local areas of the working surfaces of moving parts of structural composites, to solve the contact problem at the micro, meso, and micro levels. In turn, the system-oriented approach makes it possible to generalize and develop recommendations and algorithms for the rational formation of movable conjugations of structural composite parts that have a high level of reliability and efficiency during their operation in various modes and conditions. An analysis of the state of the problem of increasing tribological efficiency and reliability and possible ways of solving it from the tribophysical, technical, technological, mathematical and informational points of view was carried out. The research methodology consists of the methods of tribology, tribophysics, synergetics, informatics, physical reliability theory, fracture mechanics, rheology, probability theory and mathematical statistics. Within the framework of the research, an analysis of existing methods of increasing the durability of movable couplings of parts was carried out, algorithms for combining them into groups of design, technological and operational methods using composite and polymer materials.
