Registration Date 01-07-2024 Organization Research Institute of Ukrainian Studies popup.description2 The study is devoted to the actual theoretical and practical problem - the formation of the subjectivity of Ukraine (country and state) in national and geopolitical dimensions. The authors believe that the geopolitical subjectivity of Ukraine became real in the late 1980s, and this, among other factors, caused the collapse of the USSR. However, after the beginning of the 1990s, the level of Ukrainian subjectivity decreased, therefore the external, internal and "hybrid" factors that led to such a situation are analyzed, in particular the influence of the ideas of the "end of history" and "the equality of all cultures and ideologies" on the intellectual environment . The situation has changed, including the intellectual and practical elevation of Ukrainian subjectivity in connection with the Maidans, and especially in connection with the Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2014 and the need for an organized repulsion of the aggressor. The urgency of understanding the problem of Ukraine's subjectivity increased even more after the start of a full-scale war by Russia to destroy everything Ukrainian and Ukrainianness as a community, nation and state. Today, the ethno-mental characteristics of Ukrainians are fundamentally changing. And this is a predictable process: changing the direction of mass consciousness, identities and characterology of people directly depends on their real life practices. The mentality of the victim, the eternally humiliated, subordinate is changing before our eyes, especially on the battlefields for Ukraine in the war with the Russian aggressor. The subjectivity of Ukrainians, including the geopolitical one, finds confirmation in the real efforts of the nation and the state, aimed at selfpreservation in the conditions of an acute civilizational crisis, generated by the regime of Putinism in the Russian Federation. Therefore, Victory over the Russian aggressor is extremely important for the future existence of Ukrainians as a nation and a state. Product Description popup.authors Hrabovska Iryna M. Svitlana R.
