With the help of a complex method using chromatography, investigation of the propensity of specified coal bed to spontaneous combustion was carried out. It is established that coal of coalbeds с4 and с10в of "Mine "Samarska" of Mine office "Dniprovske" is not dangerous for spontaneous combustion.
