The purpose of the research work is to increase the efficiency of solar energy generation by changing the position of the solar panel (depending on the position of the sun) using parallel structure mechanisms. The use of a parallel structure mechanism of the "hexapod" type is proposed to change the tilt angle of the solar panel so that its surface is perpendicular to the sun's rays. Analytical dependencies between the position of the hexapod's executive organ (solar panel) and the length of its kinematic links, which are used in the control system of the said mechanism, have been determined. The results obtained during the research work formed the basis of scientific and methodological recommendations for controlling the position of solar panels, which allows increasing the efficiency of energy generation by 30%.
