So, for example, the frequency of traits whose carriers may have reduced fitness depends on the level of inbreeding. Systematic, purposeful, carefully planned studies of the Ukrainian population by methods of population genetics using biochemical and classical markers have not been conducted before. The studies, which were carried out sporadically, were carried out according to the "experiment-control" and "case-control" scheme, were situational and aimed at solving specific problems in the field of medical genetics, and had a non-systematic nature. The criterion for inclusion in these groups was the presence of any pathology, and the patient's belonging to one or another population was not taken into account, therefore the composition of the group was heterogeneous and depended on the region or region in which the institution, on the basis of which the research was conducted, was located. Such inclusion of objects in the main group leads to the formation of shifted samples. In such works, an effect similar to the isolation of distance is possible.
