Head Kovalenko Oleksandr V., Кандидат технічних наук Registration Date 09-10-2024 Organization Institute of Nuclear Research of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description2 Research and Development Report: 54 p., 9 fig., 6 tables, 55 sources. The object of the study - methods of decontamination of emergency releases based on catalyst-sorbents. The purpose of the research - the creation of a heat-resistant hydrophobic catalyst-sorbent based on zeolites for the reaction of low-temperature catalytic oxidation of tritium. The kinetic and thermodynamic properties of a low-temperature catalyst-sorbent with a palladium coating have been analyzed. Methods for applying palladium to zeolite, as well as its modification to expand the pores in the intracrystalline space of mordenite, have been proposed. It has been proven that palladized mordenite is characterized by high catalytic activity and is an effective catalyst-sorbent for purifying gas mixtures from tritium. However, its efficiency is significantly reduced if the temperature drops below 20°C. The relevance and importance of the work lies in the fact that its results can be used in activities related to environmental protection, in the creation of systems for cleaning gas emissions from tritium in both normal and emergency situations. The research method - theoretical calculations and experimental studies. Based on the results of the second stage of the research, 2 articles were published, and 1 report was made at the conference. The results of the research can be used by scientists and engineers involved in the development of new technologies to reduce the penetration of technogenic tritium from problem areas into the environment. Forecast assumptions about the development of the object of study - the results of theoretical and experimental studies can become the basis for the creation of effective systems for removing tritium from emergency gas emissions at ambient temperature, in order to prevent radioactive contamination of the environment. The field of application - nuclear physics and energy. Product Description popup.authors Veremiichenko Heorhii M. Volokh Olena A. Kovalenko Oleksandr V.
