To increase the stability of these dispersions and the sensitivity of the obtained sensing layers to volatile compounds, the synthetic mineral laponite was used in an optimal ratio with the nanocomposite. The required quantities of the developed optimized sensor nanocomposites were synthesized. Individual firmware modules for the developed portable device were finalized. The radio module in the developed device for wireless communication was worked out and an optimized replaceable sensor cartridge unit with a 4-channel array of chemoresistive sensors was configured.
