Developed with the participation of key stakeholders, the methodology, based on generally accepted international principles and standards of evaluation will act as a roadmap when organizing, providing services, making their internal and external independent evaluation. popup.description2 The object of the research is social rehabilitation services for children with disabilities and their families. The aim of the project is to study the development of social and rehabilitation services for children with disabilities and their families at territorial communities in the war and post-war periods by creating a methodology and techniques for their monitoring and evaluation. A qualitative design was used to conduct the research using the strategy of "research in action with community participation", which involves the experts interested in the research tasks. The main goal of this design is not to obtain new knowledge or confirm hypotheses, but to solve the problem. From March to November 2024 the 2nd stage of the research has been held. On thas stage the primary data characterizing various aspects of the development of social and rehabilitation services for determinated clients has been gathered and analysed; the model for services evaluating has been it was developed; the results of the study into practice has been implemented, disseminated and summarized. The practical value of the planned project results lies in the study of the development of social and rehabilitation services at local communities in Ukraine through the implementation of new approaches to monitoring and evaluation, based on world standards and approaches and implemented on the basis of a results-oriented model. The developed system of indicators can serve as a guideline for monitoring and evaluating services aimed at other categories of vulnerable populations. The used mechanism of participatory participation of project stakeholders can serve as a model for imitation in planning and implementing other research and project initiatives aimed at solving urgent social problems.
