The aim of the study is to identify the most effective strengthening mechanism that gives the newest Al-Mg-Si alloys suitable for producing molded castings, high mechanical properties, as well as mechanisms of formation of strengthening phases during natural aging directly in the cast state. The research methods - optical and electron microscopy, mechanical and micromechanical tests at room and elevated temperatures. A literature review of aluminum alloys was carried out, during which the prospects for the development of eutectic (Al + Mg2Si) alloys based on the ternary Al-Mg-Si system were determined. In order to obtain improved mechanical properties of the eutectic composite of the ternary Al-Si-Mg system, the use of the "Sc-effect" was proposed to realize the dispersion hardening mechanism. The optimum ratio and amount of additional alloying elements in the complex (Sc+Zr) and the heat treatment regimes for realizing the mechanism of dispersion hardening of alloys with Al3(Sc1-xZrx) particles were determined.
