The purpose of the work is to improve and develop the theoretical and methodological foundations of of technical support for cognition of spatial and temporal and structuraland functional changes in land use in the Western regions of Ukraine through expeditionary and experimental research. Practical significance: as a result of the research work performed by the Department of Geodesy, Cartography and Territory Management of the Chernivtsi Yuriy Fedkovych National University, the structural and functional features of topographic and geodetic and thematic cartographic support as a research process in the field of land management, and the actual implementation of the natural resources cadastre have been outlined.
