Head Brovarets Volodymyr S., Доктор хімічних наук Registration Date 02-01-2025 Organization V.P. Kukhar Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry and Petrochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 Development of preparative methods to obtaine new nitrogen and oxygen-containing heterocyclic compounds and their chemical and biological properties investigation. popup.description2 Effective and simple protocols have been developed for the construction of new nitrogen- and oxygen-containing heterocyclic compounds: sulfones of the dihydroimidazopyrimidinone and tetrahydropyrimidopyrimidinone series, imidazoles, 2,4,5-trisubstituted oxazoles, 1,3-oxazoles containing an oxiran-2-yl ring in the second position, 5-amino-1,3-oxazol-4-yl(triphenyl)-phosphonium salts containing a hydroxyalkylamino group in the fifth position, peptidomimetics − derivatives of phosphorylated glycine containing alkyl halide and alkyl thiocyanate residues, 1,2-dihydrophthalazines, 3 (hetaryl/aryl)-aminoisoquinolin-1(2H)-ones, pyrazole-containing aurones, 3-trifluoromethylpyrazole-deoxybenzoins, and 5H-imidazo[1,2-e][1,3,5]triazepines. The compounds were found to be active against cytomegalovirus, HPV and papillomavirus. A number of new biologically active 4-(dichloromethyl)pyrazolo[1,5-a][1,3,5]triazines and [1,3]oxazolo[4,5-d]pyrimidines were obtained for the first time. Their electronic structure and spectral properties were studied. The compounds showed high antitumor and antiviral activity. The influence of the nature of the substituents in different positions of the heterocycles on the level of biological activity was studied. A strategy for developing a high-throughput fluorescence-polarization analysis for the creation of new biologically active compounds for the treatment of diseases associated with glycogen accumulation is described.
