It was found that the optimal conditions for cryopreservation of SS and ARCs are the use of a slow cooling rate of 1 degree/min to -80 ºС with subsequent immersion in liquid nitrogen and the use of fibrin gel with the addition of 5% DMSO as a cryoprotective medium. These conditions ensure the preservation of membrane integrity, phenotype, metabolic activity, antioxidant system, proliferative potential and do not lead to the activation of apoptosis/necrosis processes in SS and ARCs of rat testes. The obtained results can be used to optimize SSC and ARCs cryopreservation protocols for further cell autotransplantation for spermatogenesis initiation in boys who undergo gonadotoxic therapy in prepubertal age.
