Object of research – perfumery and cosmetic products The aim of the work is to develop a method for determining ethyl alcohol in perfumery and cosmetic liquids containing alcohol. To achieve the goal, the following tasks were defined in the work: – preparation of samples for testing; – development of a method for determining ethyl alcohol in perfumery and cosmetic liquids; – processing of research results; – to develop a standard of the State Enterprise “KYIVSTANDARTMETROLOGY” for the determination of ethyl alcohol by gas chromatography in perfumery and cosmetic liquids. Research methods – gas chromatography. The research was conducted on the basis of the scientific and testing laboratory of the State Enterprise “KYIVVOBLSTANDARTMETROLOGY”. The methodology applies to perfumery and cosmetic products and establishes a gas chromatographic method for the determination of ethyl alcohol in perfumery and cosmetic liquids containing alcohol.
