Registration Date 10-01-2025 Organization Institute of Plant Physiology and Genetics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine popup.description1 Investigation of physiological-biochemical and molecular-genetic features of formation and functioning of symbiotic systems of soybean and alfalfa with nodule bacteria under the action of biotic and abiotic external factors in order to create effective plant-microbial complexes to increase the productivity of legumes. popup.description2 As a result of the studies, it was shown that the treatment of soybean seeds with exometabolites of the studied nodule bacteria did not significantly affect the germination energy and germination rate. It has been shown that rhizobia of goat's-rue in mixed culture with soybean nodule bacteria B.japonicum 634b can improve the formation and functioning of soybean-rhizobial symbiosis. The simultaneous use of goat's-rue rhizobia N. galegae 0702 or N. galegae 159 and soybean B. japonicum 634b increased by 1.5 and 1.3 times the number of nodules formed on soybean roots and by 1.3 and 1.2 times their weight. The trend was similar when studying the nitrogen-fixing activity of soybean-rhizobial symbiosis. Pre-sowing treatment of soybean seeds with nodule bacteria of soybean and rhizobia in mono- and mixed cultures generally improved plant growth and development. Rhizobia of goat's-rue in monoculture stimulated the formation of soybean root system, the weight of which increased slightly during budding and flowering, which caused a decrease in the development index of the aerial part of plants. In binary cultures based on B.japonicum 634b, neorhizobia improved the development of the aerial part of soybean plants. The results of the study indicate the growth-stimulating potential of goat's-rue rhizobia and the possibility of their use in complex bacterial preparations to increase the productivity of soybean plants.
