Head Kalinichenko Vsevolod Oleksandrovich, Доктор технічних наук Registration Date 13-01-2025 Organization Kryvyi Rih National University popup.description1 The project aims to determine regularities of geodynamic processes of the stress-strain state of the massif and develop state-of-the-art measures for their stabilizing during implementation of a high-technology strategy for underground and combined mining of uranium ores popup.description2 Based on the conducted study of uranium deposits of the underground mines of the State Enterprise “SkhidGZK”, the authors of the project have established that mining poor uranium ores by traditional technologies is economically infeasible. The authors have developed and proposed a new highly efficient technology called “underground vertical strip leaching of stored uranium ores” which is unparalleled in Ukraine and globally. The authors of the project have developed methods of determining parameters of the proposed technology that take into account the influence of reagents on the change of the stress-strain state of the rock massif, the influence of the deposit dip, the degree of disturbance of pillars-crowns by current workings, and enable determining the safe thickness of temporary pillars-crowns. The authors have improved the method of mathematical modeling applying the finite elements method for studying the stress-strain state of the surrounding rock massif and determining stability of temporary pillars-crown; substantiated and developed mathematical models to determine the main directions of the advanced strategy of technological development of the uranium mining industry; substantiated basic regularities of development of the latest technologies of underground and combined uranium ore mining depending on the technical, technological and socio-economic state of uranium mining enterprises in the war and post-war period. The conducted studies confirm the effect of acid solution on the uranium ore hardness and enable development of a method to determine the coefficient of pillar-crown hardness reduction Кpc due to the action of the acid solution.
