The main attention will be paid to the processes of energies achieved at the accelerators CERN, SLAC (USA), MAMI (Mainz, Germany), DESY (Germany), LAL (Orsay, France), INFN (Frascati, Italy). popup.description2 A model of the interaction of relativistic electrons with periodic fields is presented. The model describes the evolution of the electron spectrum due to recoil when emitting radiation that contains many harmonics. The external field is considered to be quantum, and the electrons are considered to be semi-classical objects. Each electron in this model interacts with several photons of the external field, emitting one secondary photon. The number of primary photons is equal to the number of harmonics in the classical model of radiation. It is shown that the primary photons are distributed according to the Poisson law, and the parameter of this distribution is equal to the square of the product of the average electron deflection angle in the external field and its Lorentz-factor. Estimates of the main parameters of electron beam kinetics were obtained - variation and stability parameter. The model is suited for numerical simulation of hard radiation sources, for example, based on the channeling of electrons and positrons in crystals. The conditions under which the effect of dielectric suppression of bremsstrahlung radiation of ultrarelativistic electrons in matter (Ter-Mikaelian effect) can be studied separately from the effect of radiation suppression due to the effect of multiple scattering on medium atoms (Landau-Pomeranchuk-Mygdal effect, or LPM effect) and without the need to take into account the absorption of gamma quanta in the substance. This opens up new possibilities for testing the validity of the existing theory of the Ter-Mikaelian effect. Product Description popup.authors Bondarenko Mykola V. Buliak Yevhen V. Kyryllin Ihor V.
