The main results are the improvement of electrical equipment for the implementation of the latest technologies for electrothermal treatment of metal melts and complex-shaped parts. In particular, mathematical models and methods have been created for calculating the heating processes of metal melts in induction channel installations, taking into account the design of thermal insulation and metal frames in induction channel installations, and a transistor converter has been created based on a resonant voltage inverter and a system for controlling the parameters of its two- and three-frequency currents. The scientific novelty of the obtained results lies in the development of a mathematical model for taking into account the influence of the properties of ferromagnetic and non-magnetic frames of induction channel furnaces on their energy efficiency under various heat treatment conditions for metal melts and complex-shaped parts, as well as in the development of a power supply system for induction heating equipment, built on the basis of a single transistor voltage inverter for more adjustable electric heating of complex-shaped parts and improving their performance characteristics. The theoretical significance of the scientific work consists in the discovery of new patterns of change in the relationships between electromagnetic and thermal processes of induction installations for electrothermal treatment of metal melts and complex-shaped parts with the energy and dynamic characteristics of semiconductor converters of electrical energy parameters.
