Based on the analysis of the scientific and publishing heritage of the Society, it is planned to reveal the role of the Scientific Society named after Shevchenko in Lviv (NTSh), created on the initiative and thanks to the foundation of scientific and cultural forces from Dnieper Ukraine, in the affirmation of the spiritual unity of the Ukrainian lands popup.description2 For the bibliographic index “Shevchenko Scientific Society in Lviv (1873–1939) as a nationwide publishing center”, a mass of bibliographic materials was collected and processed, their annotation and arrangement were carried out. For the bibliographic index “Chronicle of the Shevchenko Scientific Society” (1900–1939) as a source for the history of the Society”, 74 issues of this publication were studied, the features of its structure, the role and significance of the materials for covering the history of the creation, development and activities of the society were studied. The monograph "Ukrainian Book Publishing in Galicia (1919–1939): Socio-Political Conditions, Development, Problems" (PhD. M. Pirko) has been prepared for publication, which provides a comprehensive analysis of Ukrainian book publishing in Galicia in the interwar period and reveals the social role of book publishing as a factor in cultural progress and the national movement of Ukrainian society. The following publications prepared in previous years were published: “The Ukrainian Book in Galicia, Bukovina, Transcarpathia, Volhynia and in Emigration, 1914–1939: Bibliographic Index” (Vol. 6: 1936–1939. In 2 volumes. Lviv, 2024), the collection of scientific works “Rehabilitated by History”: Western Ukrainian and Ukrainian Emigration Book of the Interwar Period” (compiled and edited by L. I. Ilnytska. Lviv, 2024. VI, 802 p.), as well as the monograph by Kohut S. “The Work of Mykhailo Rudnytsky in the Context of the Interwar Period” (Lviv, 2024). A scientific conference was held "Publishing Strategies of the Shevchenko Scientific Society in Lviv (1873-1939)" (May 30, 2024). Based on the results of the research, 13 articles were published ("Proceedings of Vasyl Stefanyk National Scientific Library of Ukraine in Lviv", "Ethnographical Notebooks", etc.); seven articles were submitted for publication, and 11 reports were delivered at five all-Ukrainian and international conferences.
