The purpose of the work is to analyze the poetic and axiological aspects of the study of literary texts. During the implementation of the topic, the following research methods were used: historical and typological, psychoanalytic, comparative and historical. Theoretical results consist in the systematization and generalization of concepts related to the poetics and axiology of national and artistic features of works of various genres. Practical application - the potential of modern reading of Ukrainian and foreign classics for the development of the spiritual foundations of modern culture has been deepened. The results have been introduced into the educational process of Ushynsky University. The practical value of the results for society and the economy lies in the preparation of future philological teachers for innovations in professional activity. In the process of the work, the author's genre model of the story in modern artistic discourse was studied; narrative strategies in literary texts of world literature were analyzed; it was found that the titles of the symbolist dramaturgy of O. Olesya develop into capacious symbols; it was noted that the poetonymy of the works of O. Kobylyanska is closely connected with the genre, time of creation and axiological guidelines of the author's consciousness; the poetic paradigm of the dilogy by I. Rozdobudko "He: Morning Cleaner.
