Head Bolshova Olena V., Доктор медичних наук Registration Date 28-01-2025 Organization State Institute "V.P. A significant relationship between the GH/IGF-1 axis and the level of vit D was found - the greater the hypovitaminosis D, the stronger the dependence of the indicators. The risk of developing GHD is significantly increased in the presence of heterozygous polymorphisms of the VDR gene BsmI GA; TagI TC; ApaI CA. Carrying the allele A of the locus rs1544410 BsmI, the pathological allele C of the locus rs731236 TaqI of the VDR gene is significantly associated with the risk of developing ISS. The risk of developing SBNGH is significantly increased in the presence of homozygous pathological polymorphisms of the VDR gene. In the presence of the pathological variant AA of the BsmI polymorphism of the VDR gene, the risk of SGA significantly increases. In 86 % of obese children with hypothalamic dysfunction, hypovitaminosis D was found. The most significant changes in lipid fractions were observed in patients with stage III obesity, who had the lowest content of 25OHD in the blood; a significant decrease in the content of vit D is associated with a significant increase in the level of PTH. An increase in the HOMA-IR index is observed in parallel with the increase in vit D deficiency. The level of VD-BG has a positive correlation with the level of 25(OH)D and is negatively associated with BMI. In children with type 1 diabetes, vit D deficiency was found in 51,9 % of children, vit D insufficiency – in 35,6 % of children. The presence of hypovitaminosis D in most patients with short stature, type 1 diabetes, and obesity on the background of HD necessitates the need to consider the serum 25OHD content in the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of such patients, and to take appropriate preventive measures to correct dyslipidemia. It has been proven that the addition of vitamin D preparations leads to an increase in the effectiveness of treatment of patients with short stature.
