The traumatic impact of the war on the population of Ukraine, constant threats to the psychological well-being of a large number of people, challenges to the mental health of vulnerable groups, as well as the peculiarities of the mass consciousness of post-totalitarian Ukrainian society, the lack of traditions and insufficient competence of the population in using psychological knowledge to counteract stress and solve life problems necessitate the development of the principles of psychological education of the population in these conditions. Professionals working in the field of social and psychological services must master the competencies of psychological education as a set of primary means of psychological support for the population during the war and its recovery from trauma in the postwar period, in the processes of supporting vulnerable populations. All this determined the choice of the research topic "Scientific and methodological support of psychological education of the population of Ukraine experiencing the trauma of war". Goal: to develop a scientifically based model and a set of methodological tools for psychological education of the population of Ukraine experiencing war trauma. Tasks: 1) Summarize the world experience of psychological education of the population experiencing war trauma and systematize basic psychological knowledge in accordance with the needs of vulnerable populations and other target groups experiencing war trauma. 2) Develop a model of psychological education for the population experiencing war trauma. 3) To develop a set of methodological tools for psychological education of the population of Ukraine and a technology for its use in typical practices of social interaction during the war. 4) To develop a methodology for developing the competencies of specialists who will provide psychological education to the population during the war and who will accompany vulnerable populations in war conditions.
