The purpose of the work is to develop a "Project for the comprehensive degassing of the excavation section 1 of the southern panel of block 10 of the d4 layer of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE». Research methods are generalization and analysis of results, methods of mathematical statistics, calculations using standard methods. As a result of the work, the mining, geological and mining engineering conditions for the development of the 1st lava of the southern panel of block 10 of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» were analyzed. The expected methane release within the excavation section, the air consumption for ventilation of the excavation section, the parameters and mode of degassing the roof and the mined space were calculated. Measures were developed to manage the degassing system of the excavation section 1 of the southern panel of block 10 during fires in mining operations. The “Project for the comprehensive degassing of the excavation section 1 of the southern panel of block 10 of the d4 layer of PJSC «Management of the mine «POKROVSKE» has been developed.
