To effectively separate coherent and incoherent effects in photoemission spectra, a novel method was developed using convolutional neural networks. The training data for the network was generated through simulations based on experimentally determined physical parameters. Using the example of bilayer splitting in superconducting cuprates, the efficiency of this approach was demonstrated, confirming the presence of bilayer splitting across the entire doping range and proving that the splitting magnitude does not decrease with a reduction in carrier concentration, contrary to some expectations. To facilitate the synthesis and study of promising superconductors, the optical furnace and equipment for cryogenic studies were upgraded. High-frequency etching equipment was prepared, and the automation of cryogenic experiments was completed. Preparations were made for the installation of a new high-vacuum sputtering system and an ultraviolet radiation source for the photoelectron spectrometer. The studied quantum materials have the potential to transform various technological sectors, and their exploration is both relevant and timely for advancing fundamental scientific knowledge. The theoretical prediction of new quantum materials using artificial intelligence has become a pressing topic, and the obtained results will contribute to integrating theory, experiment, and synthesis—the central concept of the GU-QuMat project, aimed at establishing a world-class German-Ukrainian research laboratory. As a result of the research, four presentations were delivered at international scientific conferences, and an article was submitted for publication in a leading international journal. This article has also been published in the central archive of scientific publications, arXiv:cond-mat.supr-con, with DOI. Product Description popup.authors Bohachov Kyrylo H. Kaleniuk Oleksii A.
