The scale of mineral extraction in the Zhytomyr region is analyzed, in particular, waste from enterprises producing building materials. It is established that a significant part of such waste, in particular, mineral residues of hazard class IV, can be safely utilized in construction. Finely dispersed waste from stone processing production (sludge), their chemical and granulometric composition are studied. It is found that such waste can be used as a filler in ceramic products and for the manufacture of geopolymers, in particular, sealing coatings. The influence of different fractions of sludge on the physical and mechanical characteristics of geopolymer and concrete materials is assessed. It is experimentally proven that the addition of 25% FSWR waste to geopolymers reduces their strength to 20 MPa, and at 50% - to 5.3 MPa. For concrete, partial replacement of sand with FSWR (up to 20%) slightly reduces the strength (from 37.42 to 36.6 MPa). It was determined that geopolymers with 25% FSWR can be used in low-load structures, and concrete mixtures with FSWR - without significant deterioration of characteristics. The work confirms the importance of developing environmental logistics and implementing industrial waste processing technologies to reduce their negative impact on the environment.
