Among the adult population, media stress due to what is heard and seen on TV or on the Internet is the most common among many other stressors of war. The extent to which media traumatizes children who consume adult content in the background while their parents watch the news is an issue that needs research. We cannot control most war injuries, but media traumatization can be prevented if it is detected in time and psychological help is provided to the child and his closest adult environment (parents and teachers). Based on the results of the scientific research topic, the authors developed the Technology for Remote Diagnosis of Media Trauma in the Context of War Traumatization. An analysis of the international experience of using existing diagnostic tools for assessing various aspects of traumatization was carried out, diagnostic techniques for detecting media trauma in preschool children were developed for the first time, short questionnaires for younger schoolchildren were selected and modified, and more detailed kits were created for teenagers and parents. Computer programs for testing were developed with password-protected access to prevent the collection of personal data and the possibility of remote diagnostics from any device with an Internet connection. The technology also provides protection against data loss in the event of a forced interruption of the survey. For the first time, wartime psychometric norms were developed for 18 diagnostic methods included in the testing programs. Remote diagnostics allows parents to receive consulting assistance from a psychologist regarding the child's condition and parental methods of assistance, taking into account the individual characteristics of the child.
