Research methods are generally accepted methods of bibliographic, zootechnical, biometric and laboratory research. The work substantiates the need to improve approaches to organizing the processes of feeding cows and preparing feed for feeding, taking into account the influence of climatic indicators. Making adjustments to the technological process of preparing the feed mixture and the technological regulations of the feeding process (time of distributing the feed mixture to cows) allowed to increase the nutritional value of the actual ration, dry matter intake of the ration and milk productivity. It was determined that using the developed scheme of the order of feeding feed into the feed mixer hopper, the average amount of concentrated feed in the Pennsylvania sieve tray after sieving the average sample decreased on average from 20.4% to 17.8% in the total structure of the feed mixture. That is, the proportion of concentrated feed remaining on the sieves with bulky feed increased by 13.8%. This contributed to an increase in milk productivity of cows by 0.5 kg/head/day (from 35.9±3.40 kg in the control to 36.4±2.87 kg in the experimental periods). It was established that changing the feeding regimen and amount of feed during the period of peak heat load on highly productive animals (+32 °C and above) contributed to an increase in feed consumption. Thus, during this period, there was a decrease in the residues on the feed table on average from 3.37 kg to 2.13 kg per head, or by 3.27% of the amount of feed given. At the same time, an increase in milk yield was noted from 28.9 kg to 30.1 kg per head per day in the experimental period, which is 4.1% more compared to the control period.
