Under normal conditions, it exists in the form of colorless crystals, crystal hydrate — colorless crystals, dissolves well in water. Aluminum sulfate is used in water treatment systems for coagulation and flocculation. It is added to water to coagulate unbalanced particles and contaminants, helping to remove them from the water. This process is especially important in drinking water and wastewater treatment systems, where aluminum sulfate helps remove turbidity, bacteria, and other contaminants.Drinking water quality control is carried out in accordance with the requirements of DSanPiN 2.2.4.-171-10 "Hygienic requirements for drinking water intended for human consumption".
