The object of the study is the phenomena of global and local crises and transformations of the world historical process The purpose is to clarify the content, features, characteristics, peculiarities of personal (individual), social (collective, ethnic, national), state experience, existence, development, and life in the conditions of crises and transformations of world history. The research methodology combines comparative, multidisciplinary, and personological approaches. The scientific value and relevance of the results obtained lies in the introduction of a wide range of sources into scientific circulation; proposed new approaches and principles in the study of the problem of the state/society/individual in the context of crises and transformations; in the prospects for including the Ukrainian segment in the understanding of European and world experience, the practice of experiencing crises and crisis phenomena in history, clarifying common and distinctive features and characteristics on the example of the history of Ukraine and other states, their populations, and individual ethnic and religious groups. The results of the work contributed to the formation of new promising research areas and problems for research and their presentation at scientific meetings, and to the use of research work by students. The practical value of the results is in the presentation of scientific achievements to the foreign community, which increases the competitiveness of Ukrainian science and its integration into the European and world intellectual space, and in expanding the range of scientific contacts.
