Experimental data on the spreading of filler metals on the base metal have been obtained, and the contact angle of wetting formed between the filler metal and the base metals have been determined. The structure of brazed joints of dissimilar materials (Kovar–stainless steel, Kovar–molybdenum) has been studied. It has been demonstrated that using filler metals of the Cu-Mn-Co and Cu-Mn-Co-Fe systems results in dense, defect-free brazed joints. Based on the obtained results, a filler metal and the technological principles of the brazing process for dissimilar materials have been developed. The developed filler metal and the technological principles of the brazing process can be applied at enterprises in Ukraine for the modernization and production of specific components made from dissimilar materials, such as Kovar–stainless steel and Kovar–molybdenum.
