The object of the study is the processes of restructuring the economy of Ukraine The subject of the study is recommendations for the restructuring of the economy of Ukraine in the post-war period Research methods are theoretical generalization, analysis, synthesis, statistical analysis, graphic, comparison, methods of economic and mathematical modeling and foresight studies. Scientific and technical results: - developed a methodological approach to determining a promising model of the economy of Ukraine based on the generalization of the experience of leading countries in the world depending on their scale, development of human capital and scientific and technical potential, as well as the diversity of raw material reserves; - substantiated an intermediate model of the economy of Ukraine in the post-war period; - proposed a theoretical justification of the approach to assessing the national security of Ukraine, taking into account the state of its armed forces, the development of the defense-industrial complex and the potential of the economy as a whole to protect the territorial integrity of the state; - assessed the national security of Ukraine in the post-war period and identified areas for its provision; - developed a methodological approach to determining priority areas for restructuring the economy of Ukraine, taking into account its intermediate model and ensuring the country's national security; - identified priority areas for restructuring the economy of Ukraine in the post-war period based on its model and ensuring the country's national security.
