To increase the sensitivity of measurements, a reference synthesizer based on a 100 MHz quartz oscillator with ultra-low phase noise synchronized to the rubidium standard has been developed for the modernization of an automated spectrometer in the millimeter wavelength range and a laser-microwave atomic-beam spectrometer for studying Rydberg states of atoms. Numerical modeling of the electrodynamic characteristics of a complex-composition microstrip antenna in the centimeter wavelength range has been performed. High efficiency of electromagnetic wave radiation with different types of polarization has been demonstrated. Methods and algorithms for detecting slow-moving targets against the background of reflections from local objects and the underlying surface have been improved. The proposed differential algorithm provides a gain in the signal/clutter ratio of more than 10 dB compared to classical algorithms based on terrain maps. A method for real-time reproduction of ionosphere characteristics from ionograms at the Ukrainian Antarctic Station “Academician Vernadsky” using artificial intelligence technologies has been developed. The obtained data are used in calculating current global maps of ionosphere critical frequency depressions used at the European Space Weather Center PECASUS. Round-the-clock continuous registration of HF radio signals of precise time service stations has been launched at three measuring points: at the LOFAR PL610 observatory (Borovets, Poland), in Tromso and on the island of Svalbard (Norway) according to the schedule used at the UAS “Academician Vernadsky”.
