This is achieved by using variable compost composition, natural sorbents of various types, and encapsulated prolonged-release fertilizers in substrates. popup.description2  It is established that all types of pollution can be divided into mechanical and physical impacts on soils (passage of military equipment, fires, soil displacement due to fortifications, trenching or explosions) and chemical impacts (pollution by fuels and lubricants, explosives or ammunition residues, heavy metals). The analysis was based on a number of publications on the effects of military conflicts in different countries, as well as military exercises and reclamation of land where military bases were located. For Ukrainian conditions, the results of laboratory studies of the quality of different types of disturbed soils in the de-occupied territories of Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Kharkiv regions, as well as data from soil studies after missile strikes on Lviv were used. The article substantiates the use of natural sorbents (palygorskite, bentonite, glauconite, zeolite) for adsorption and binding of toxicants in soils. It is shown that the optimal solution can only be the integrated use of several components of the integrated technology for the remediation of contaminated soils.
