COVID-19, NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS, P300 COGNITIVE EVOKED POTENTIALS, PSYCHONEUROLOGICAL MANIFESTATIONS, AUTOIMMUNE INFLAMMATORY PROCESS, INFLAMMATION MARKERS, POST-COVIDAL SYNDROME, OLFACTORY DISORDERS. It has been established that in persons with long-term olfactory disorders after a sustained COVID-19 infection, a certain long-term inflammatory reaction of the body is formed, an increase in the level of endogenous intoxication, the content of circulating immune complexes and the activation of autoimmune reactions to neuroantigens are determined. Cognitive changes were most pronounced in patients with sleep disorders and asthenic syndrome, while the highest level of depression was observed in the group of patients with olfactory disorders, which is most likely due to the hypothesis of a strong influence of sensory loss on the emotional state of patients. Patients with olfactory impairments had the worst P300 latencies and amplitudes, indicating significant slowing of cognitive processing and reduced cognitive performance. Higher levels of C-reactive protein, lactate dehydrogenase, increased levels of lactate and glucose indicate that a metabolism with signs of a chronic inflammatory process is formed after the disease of COVID-19 among people with remote symptoms. Increased levels of C-reactive protein, medium molecules and neuroantibodies were detected in the blood of those who became ill with the infection of COVID-19, which indicates the presence of a prolonged inflammatory reaction and the development of autoimmune reactions to brain antigens.   Product Description popup.authors Belska Lyudmyla M Vasylieva Iryna H.
