Purpose: to develop a technology for geoinformation assessment and mapping of the effectiveness and potential capacity of urban green spaces to provide ecosystem services; the technology should be focused on processing uncertain and limited information and be available for use by urban planners. Research methods: theoretical analysis of the processes of functioning of ecosystems of urban green spaces, using methods of fuzzy set theory, reliability theory, use of Harrington's desirability function, methods of geospatial analysis, geoinformation modelling, etc. A set of indicators of the effectiveness in providing various types of ecosystem services has been developed. A methodology for assessing ecosystem services has been developed that is suitable for processing spatially distributed information and is focused on the availability of uncertain and limited data. The territorial units by which it is advisable to assess ecosystem services are identified. A set of variables (attributes, characteristics) of urban green spaces necessary for assessing ecosystem services, resilience of these areas to anthropogenic pressures, forecasting their possible changes and environmental risks is substantiated. A geodatabase of Kyiv green spaces with attributive information about each of them, which contains vector and raster geodata sets was created. A quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of green spaces in providing various types of ecosystem services was carried out. A series of maps that demonstrate the spatial distribution of the effectiveness of green areas in providing ecosystem services in Kyiv. A quantitative assessment of the risks of loss of ecosystem services by Kyiv's green spaces was carried out.
